I was looking through my open mascara collection recently when I realised that it's been quite some time since I uploaded another Open Mascara Edit post - whoops! My current open mascara collection features quite a few that need to be thrown out so (rest assured, I've stopped using the old ones - just haven't thrown them) so, with a cull in the very near future, I thought now was the best time to give you a sneak peek!

Bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumising Mascara
I received this mascara as a freebie when I placed a Sephora order and I'm a bit indifferent about it. It's certainly not terrible and it gives a great natural look but it's also nothing to write home about. With all that said, however, it's only $22.00 at Mecca so trying it isn't going to break the bank.
Would I repurchase? Nope.

MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash
I have really long eyelashes and I find that mascara on my lower lash line always transfers and creates one hell-of-a mess. I've noticed quite a few people have featured this mascara lately and they all mention that it doesn't transfer so I decided to pick it up and I haven't been disappointed. This works so well on the upper and lower lashes and I highly recommend it.
Would I repurchase? Most definitely 

Rimmel London Wonder'full Mascara with Argan Oil*
This mascara is really great. It creates really defined, yet natural, looking lashes and that are really volumised. It's really comfortable to wear and, at such a great price point, this is one I recommend to everyone! For more info, you're welcome to check out my review here. 
Would I repurchase? Absolutely! 

Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara

This is a double ended mascara, as I'm sure you can see from the photo. The upper wand is designed for volumising the top lashes, whilst the bottom wand is designed to enhance lower lashes. I used the lower lash line mascara for a while but, all in all, it hasn't wowed me. 

Would I repurchase? Nope.

MAC Opulash Optimum Black
I was gifted this mascara back and I quite like it. I really like how it makes my lashes look, full and defined, but the brush is huge which makes application super messy. 
Would I repurchase? No, but because i've found a MAC mascara I'm head over heels in love with 

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Yep, you read the name currently. This mascara is super hyped about in the beauty community and, after using it, I totally know why. This mascara provides so much volume, curl and length to the lashes in a way that's just beautiful. I also find that this mascara clumps my lashes but in the best way possible, if that's even possible. I really love it. Can you tell? 
Would I repurchase? Over and over.

Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Dramatic Impact & Graphic Precision

This mascara provides a decent about of volume and precision. It's not awful but not great. One gripe that I have with this mascara is the wand, it's huge. You know the type that is so big it makes a mess all over the eyeshadow? Yep, that's the one!

Would I repurchase? Nope, it's not very readily available in Australia and I just don't think it's worth the hunt

Tarte Gifted Mascara 
This mascara was a gift with purchase from an order I placed last year and I decided to crack it open after seeing the beauty community went into a frenzy after it was released. For me, this is a good good-it-all mascara that I tend to whip out when I'm rocking a more simple look. 
Would I repurchase? I probably wouldn't buy it but I wouldn't be disappointed if I received a sample

Yep, my secret's out, I'm a mascara junkie. I really love testing out new mascaras and, given that I've been blessed with pretty long natural lashes, I find it a lot of fun! Now that I've made space in my mascara drawer for some newbies, stay tuned!
